On Friday, September 26, 2025, the autumn market will bring autumnal flair to downtown Dornbirn from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dornbirn welcomes the colorful season, and well-known weekly market vendors, direct marketers, and a wide variety of exhibitors showcase their products. Golden autumn is not only known for its colorful diversity, but also for harvest, sustainability, regionality, and beautiful autumn decorations. Agricultural products, handicrafts, and beautiful and delicious items from the region enrich the colorful market bustle from the market square to the parish park. The harvest crown, carefully hand-bound by Rheintal farmer Rita Wohlgenannt, will be blessed by St. Martin's Parish at 10:30 a.m.
This year's autumn market will be as diverse as autumn itself. It ranges from fine delicacies, fresh honey, homemade jewelry, schnapps and liqueurs, autumn flowers and plants to a wide variety of decorative items and much more.
The first chestnuts are being roasted, Oliver Jochum's mobile bar is already looking forward to welcoming market visitors during the day, and Melanie Mähr from nilla coffee will be offering delicious coffee and other hot drinks—such as chai lattes and pumpkin spiced lattes—from her enchanting coffee cart. Melanie also serves lactose-free and vegan yeast pastries, while next door at the Ahna & Ähne stand, excellent cake specialties from grandmas and grandpas are on sale. Ahna & Ähne have set themselves the goal of ensuring that no one is left alone in old age – there is a lot to do across generations – “let's bake it.”
A hand-bound harvest crown has become a rarity. It is a real treasure that one of the most beautiful harvest crowns in the country is presented and blessed at the Dornbirn Autumn Market! Autumn is pumpkin season! In the craft tent, all children can choose a pumpkin from the Winder family for €3 and conjure up a wonderful carved work of art. Please bring your own carving tools.
