Dornbirn has a new mobility offer

Recently, Dornbirn residents have been able to use around 150 e-scooters to easily experience the city. The globally active company TIER Mobility, which also offers e-scooters in Lindau and St. Gallen in the neighborhood, was won as a partner. "The scooters make it easy to cover short distances spontaneously. The new mobility offer makes Dornbirn even more urban," says Mayor Dipl.-Vw. Andrea Kaufmann. "The topic of urban mobility was already taken up by Dornbirn's city marketing two years ago; with the new and easy-to-use system, our city is once again a pioneer in the region," adds City Marketing Councillor Dr. Alexander Juen.

The 100 e-scooters are available to all Dornbirn residents, but also to guests in the city. "The scooters can be booked directly via an app. On the smartphone, you can see where the nearest scooter is located and what the current battery charge level is," adds city councilor Alexander Juen. The scooters are collected in the evening, charged overnight and are then available again the next day. The scooters are charged via the TIER app, which can be downloaded from the App Store and Playstore. A one-time registration and the definition of the payment modalities - that's all that's required.
