The protection of your personal data is especially important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of statutory regulations (GDPR, TKG 2003). In the following data protection information we are informing you about the most important aspects of data processing in the framework of our website. With the use of this website, you agree to the following regulations of our Data Protection Declaration.

  • Data gathering

We collect personal data such as address, first and last name, e-mail address, street and house number, postal code, home place and telephone number by voluntarily subscribing to our newsletter, a general enquiry via our website, participation in a competition on our website or on site as part of our events, by purchasing tickets and vouchers, by registering for our markets or via contacts in everyday business transactions. In addition, device- and location-related data, log data and cookies are determined due to your use of our website.

  • Use of data

Your personal data will be used by us exclusively for sending electronic newsletters (which contains information about events in and around Dornbirn or recent news about Dornbirn), for sending the tender documents for markets and events, written commitments for exhibitors in electronic or postal form as well as for accounting purposes.

  • Data storage and security

The data provided by you are valuable backed up. Your data will only be passed on to third parties within and outside the organisation with your consent. Unauthorized persons or third parties do not have access to your data. Your data will be deleted as soon as the purpose of the storage no longer applies. In principle, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection of your data.   • Newsletter

The controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), other data protection laws applicable in Member states of the European Union and other provisions related to data protection is: rapidmail GmbH. You have the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this we need your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. In order to provide you with targeted information of events in and around Dornbirn or news in Dornbirn, we also collect and process voluntarily provided information on the form of address, first and last name and e-mail address. As soon as you have registered for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm your registration, the double opt-in procedure. You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation to the following e-mail address: stadtmarketing@dornbirn.at. We will immediately delete all your data in connection with the newsletter.

The newsletters are sent via “rapidmail”. When registering for the newsletter, the user's IP address and the date and time of registration are stored. This serves to prevent misuse of the services or the data subject's e-mail address. The data is not passed on to third parties. An exception is made if there is a legal obligation to pass on the data. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter. Subscription to the newsletter can be terminated by the data subject at any time. Consent to the storage of personal data can also be revoked at any time. There is a corresponding link for this purpose in every newsletter. The legal basis for the processing of data after registration for the newsletter by the user is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR if the user has given consent. The legal basis for sending the newsletter as a result of the sale of goods or services is Section 7 (3) UWG.

 

  • Events & Policies Ticketing 

All information on data protection (terms of use) can be found here. By purchasing the ticket, the visitor accepts the house rules at the venue. Upon leaving the venue, the ticket loses its validity. Disregard of the house rules and misuse of the ticket may result in expulsion from the venue. A return of the ticket is not possible. In case of cancellation of an event, the ticket can be returned for refund up to one month after the scheduled date of the event. TICKETIST is only an agent of the ticket and is neither liable for the refund of the entrance fees nor for defects of the event. In case of cancellation, no expenses (hotel, travel, etc.) will be reimbursed. In the case of picture/sound recordings and transmissions, the visitor gives his/her consent that the recordings made by him/her can be used without compensation and without restrictions. Latecomers will only be admitted during the breaks. Dates and programs are subject to change.

  • Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do no harm. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. In this connection, we use the analytical service “Conversion-Tracking” belonging to Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94032, USA on our website.
