Christmas Magic at the Dornbirn Christkindle Market
From November 21 to December 23, 2025, the Dornbirn Christmas market on the market square invites visitors to enjoy the festive atmosphere of Advent. Numerous exhibitors offer regional products, handicrafts, and fine delicacies. A varied children's program and other highlights for the whole family await visitors.
During Advent, Dornbirn's city center will once again be aglow with festive cheer when the Christmas market opens its doors. The decorated Christmas tree with the nativity scene on the market square forms the heart of the market. New this year is a selfie point where visitors can take photos and share their favorite moments. Visitors can enjoy the special Advent atmosphere among decorated stalls offering regional products, arts and crafts, and culinary delicacies, accompanied by a varied Christmas entertainment program for young and old.
Festive illumination and opening of the Christkindlemarkt
The Dornbirn Christkindlemarkt will be officially opened by Mayor Markus Fäßler on November 21 at 5 p.m. The opening will be accompanied by music from the 4A music class of the Bergmannstraße Dornbirn Music Middle School and the Dance Art School Dornbirn. This will be followed by the lighting of the Christmas tree on the market square – an atmospheric start to the Advent season.
