Rappenloch- und Alplochschlucht - gorge

Two of the largest gorges in central Europe are to be found in the Gütle district of Dornbirn. These are the Rappenloch and Alploch Gorges. Wooden footbridges take visitors past breathtaking scenery. One hour is sufficient to hike from the starting point in Gütle through the first gorge, past Staufensee and then through the Alpenlochschlucht Gorge to Ebniter Straße. Buses run regularly from there back to the starting point, the former Hämmerle factory, which is now home to the Rolls Royce Museum.
