Winter closure
Due to the cold snap and the resulting risk of slipping on the paths and footbridges, access to the Rappenloch and Alploch gorges is prohibited for safety reasons.
The gorge will be reopened in spring 2024 after rock clearance has been completed and announced.

From July to September 2023, exciting guided tours of the Dornbirn gorges will take place weekly, always on Thursdays. The guided tours always start at 10:30 a.m., the duration is about 2 hours. Meeting point is at the sequoia tree in the Gütle. The guided tours take place in all weather conditions. Ticket costs EUR 10,- The tours are offered in German only.
