Roadblock to Ebnit

For the completion of the Rappenloch bridge, the following road closures to Ebnit are necessary in the period from May 15 to 26 (at the same time, work is also being done on the Schneiders Kurve by the Werkhof - this causes the road closure on May 30). There will be no public buses on the closure days.  

Road closures:

• Monday, May 15 from 7:00 a.m. until Wednesday, May 17 5:30 p.m.
• Friday,  May 19 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m
• Monday, May 22 from 7:00 a.m. to Saturday, May 27 6:00 a.m.
• Tuesday, May 30 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Buses run as scheduled on holidays and weekends.

Until the completion of the new bridge to the mountain village of Ebnit, the footbridge in the area of the construction site remains closed for the time being from Monday to Friday for safety reasons. Hikers can use the footbridge up to the bridge, but must walk from the construction site via the replacement road to Lake Staufen. The closure will last from Monday, 7:00 a.m. to Friday, 12:00 noon. Work on the bridge is expected to continue until mid-June. Afterwards, all hiking trails in the Rappenloch can be used again without restrictions.
