Summer concerts on the market square
From 11 to 13 July 2024, Dornbirn's market square will be transformed into a vibrant concert arena. On three evenings from 7 pm, visitors can expect a varied musical programme that will ensure a good atmosphere and a real summer feeling. ‘Summer in the City’ offers a variety of music and a festival atmosphere with regional artists and international acts.

Programme

Thursday, 11 July:

  • Nevermind Extended opens with an energetic show. The band thrills with a mixture of their own songs and covers, supported by three trumpets and three trombones.

Friday, 12 July:

  • Noah Bono, the young musician from Vorarlberg, enchants with authentic and melodic songs that reflect personal experiences.
  • Freud, one of Vienna's best live bands, creates a great atmosphere with catchy songs from their album ‘Talking Phrases’.

Saturday, 13 July:

  • Claynation  plays a mixture of classics, new hits and their own songs.
  • Mainfelt, the South Tyrolean folk-rock heroes, are the crowning finale of the festival.

The bars of Hugo's, Mr John's and Steinhauser as well as the food trucks ‘Emma & Eugen’ and ‘Cooking Ninja’ will provide refreshments. The concerts take place in all weathers.

Event tip:
Before the ‘Summer in the City’ event starts, exciting football evenings await us on Dornbirn's market square. On Tuesday, 9 July and Wednesday, 10 July, the semi-finals of the European Football Championship 2024 will be broadcast live during public viewing. The grand final of the European Championship will then also be shown on the market square on Sunday, 14 July.
