Dornbirn autumn market 2021

Colorful diversity in Dornbirn's city center

Friday, October 1, 2021, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Dornbirn Autumn Market on the Market Square and in the Parish Park

October marks the official start of autumn in Dornbirn and invites you to an occasional market with an autumnal focus in the city center. All kinds of regional and sustainable products await the visitors in the time from 9-17 o'clock.

A wide variety of exhibitors - including already well-known weekly market riders and direct marketers of agricultural products - will present their products. The "Golden Autumn" stands not only for its variety of colors, but also for harvest, sustainability, regionality and magical autumn decorations. Agricultural products, handicrafts, beautiful and delicious things are to enrich the colorful market hustle and bustle in Dornbirn's city center. The offer is varied and ranges from autumnal floral decorations to wonderful pumpkins from the Winder family, a wide variety of wooden decorations, soothing spices, beeswax cloths, creative products made of concrete and autumnal pastries from the Spiegel bakery. But also Italian delicatessen, South Tyrolean specialties, sewn, knitted or special schnapps are offered for sale. In the parish park Günther Emhart presents the old craft of rope turning and basket weaving and the beekeeping association Dornbirn brings excellent honey and looks forward to many interested customers. At Susi Ahrer's stand you will find delicacies from the Mangalitza pig - a rare opportunity in Vorarlberg that should not be missed.

The special market ambience - starting from the market square into the popular area of the Pfarrpark - invites you to follow the market events while tasting chestnuts or a fine Leberkäse from the new Ape of the Streitler family. A particularly tasty delicacy are the popular Baumstriezel from Natalie Mitov, which sweeten the market visit directly on the market square. In the Schulgasse, the SASU Ape is looking forward to many Frahling lovers and HUGO's Bar spoils the market visitors with fine drinks from noon directly at the market square.
