Christmas magic at the Dornbirn Christmas market

From Friday, 24 November to Saturday, 23 December 2023, the traditional Christkindlemarkt will bring Christmas cheer to Dornbirn's city centre.

In the run-up to Christmas, Dornbirn's city centre shines in festive splendour when the Christkindlemarkt opens its doors once again. The festively decorated Christmas tree and nativity scene are the centrepieces of this traditional market right on the market square. A contemplative atmosphere unfolds amidst numerous stalls and gastronomic offerings, accompanied by a varied stage programme with musical and cultural entertainment.

Opening and illumination
The official opening and switch-on of the Christmas lights will take place on Friday, 24 November at 5 pm on the market square. The ceremony will be accompanied by the Calypso Choir and the Dance Art School.

A wide range of offers for young and old
For gift seekers, the arts and crafts market in the Stadtmuseumspark offers a rich selection of lovingly handmade products. The cosy atmosphere invites you to browse and linger. After the Christmas shopping has been completed, the generous catering offer entices visitors with fine hot drinks and delicious food.

A varied programme awaits young visitors in the baking and handicrafts room in the parish park on around 125m2. Every day from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., this is a real paradise for crafting, baking, colouring, reading and playing. In the Europapassage, the Westbahn train and the carousel await adventurous children.

The Dornbirn Christmas Market promises a contemplative time full of festive anticipation and unforgettable moments.
