In order to relieve the burden on retailers and offer customers a relaxed shopping experience, there will be a 2G service point on the market square in front of the church from Thursday, January 13, 2022.
Since January 11, 2022, retail stores are obliged to carry out a 2G check on site. In order to relieve the retail trade and to be able to offer customers a relaxed shopping experience, there will be a 2G service point on the market square in front of the church from Thursday, January 13, 2022. Here, anyone who wants to can pick up a stamp with the respective 2G proof and an officially valid photo ID and simply show it in the stores.
"With the service point, we are trying to make the shopping experience in Dornbirn as convenient as possible. Of course, customers can also have themselves checked directly in the store," says Dr. Alexander Juen, City Councilor for City Marketing and Tourism. Mayor Dipl.-Vw. Andrea Kaufmann adds: "The currently valid Corona protection measures are important. We are working with all stakeholders to find attractive solutions." The 2G stamp is to be understood as an additional offer and its use is not mandatory.
Saving time when shopping in retail stores - despite 2G control - works from January 13, 2022 with the 2G stamp in Dornbirn's city center. From Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the 2G service point will be open on the market square in front of the church. Simply bring your current valid 2G certificate, printed out or digitally on your cell phone, and an officially valid photo ID such as an ID card, driver's license or passport, and pick up the stamp. The shopping experience can then begin. The stamp is always valid for the respective day.
